We learned our expertise at the Hotel and Tourist School in Bad Ischl, Germany as well as professional chef/waitering at the luxury hotel Glocknerhof in Heiligenblut, Kärnten, Austria as well as other renowned hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. We Also gained experience at all levels of hotel experience on luxury liners travelling the world and holding leading posts before making the jump of independence.
The opening of the Gourmet and Garden Restaurant “Tableau” in the center of Kempten, Allgäu in May 1987 saw our first steps into professional self-employment. Eighteen successful years full of enthusiasm and pleasure at this great challenge followed.
The many regular guests and friendships that ensued were the basis for our next professional step.
In 2005 the LANDHOTEL ZUR GRENZE near Isny, Allgau standing alone surrounded in the beautiful Allgau scenery and the alpine foothills easily accessible by road and with its culinary possibilities exerted its charm on us. Here we could fulfill our ideas as hoteliers and host celebrations for our guests.
As ever the restaurant continues to be our main emphasis and at this point, we want to thank all our loyal guests who accompanied us over many years and helped us grow with our tasks.
